A Research Of The Influontial Factors Of The Cell Phone Usage

In the last few years cell phone has become one of the key elements of contemporary societies, also diverse fields of academia. Based on the past research, this study will attempt to test the argument that the cell phone usage are influenced by socail factors. In this article, the independent variables are gender, age, education, census\register situation, and others demographics, and the dependent variable is cell phone usage. That is to say, the purpose of this study is to describe how the cell phones are used in the context of daily lives, and explore the relations among these factors by Robust Regression model.The first section of the paper provides background on the literature review of home and abroad. In the second section, the paper defines the key conceptions, arises the research hypothesis and research methods. The third secion analyzes the data which from the survey research. And then, the article poses the conclusions and the explanations.Through an analysis of the pattern of usage, we arrive at the conclusion that the infulence mechanism to usage frequency and usage extent of socai demographics are defferent, the significance variables are age and education. The influence of sex and whether at working are more complicated. Census\register situation can not account for neither usage frequency or usage extent.The present study thus will contribute to the research on cell phone with its focus on how the cell phone affects usage. At last, residual problems and avenues of future research that arise from this study are also discussed. These issues provide potential avenues for further research and discussion.
