As the rapid development and popularization of multimedia technology and network technology, e-learning as a new way of learning gradually highlight its unique advantage. E-learning the basic transmission of information is a network program, for online course design and development, more and more attention to the network of educators. Web-based means of modern education has also been widely used.In this paper, the author selects "Multimedia Courseware" in "issues" section for online course design and development, in order to assist classroom teaching, breaking books on the linear arrangement. And the purpose of the paper is to rich reality of classroom teaching so that students can overcome constraints of time and space anytime, anywhere learning, and to improve the learning quality and learning efficiency.In this paper, the author takes "Multimedia Courseware" is in the "problem" section as an example. By Dick & Carey model of instructional design were determined from the teaching objectives, learner analysis, and analysis of the learning environment, instructional analysis, objective analysis of performance,development of assessment scales, several aspects of teaching strategies of instructional design. And based on this instructional design, the author uses Java technology, software engineering under the guidance of thinking, the use of waterfall model from functional analysis, module design, and database design to achieve the selection function of the technical implementation.The system includes user registration module, the user login module, course information module, job management module, online answer modules, learning forum module, contact information module of eight functional modules for teachers and students a web-based environment interactive teaching and learning platform.After this online course development is completed, the author conducts a study of interview, in order to understand how the online course through the stage of testing and use, friendly interface, well, basically to achieve the desired objectives and design requirements.It can play a supporting traditional role of teaching can be used as a supplement and extension of classroom teaching. Finally, the design process needs to continue improvement in the summary and future work done some elaboration for future study and research work in the right direction.
