With the development and the extensive applications of computer and network, Network Education, a modem long-distance education method, becomes a main way for people to obtain knowledge and learn all lifetime. Network Course is the important resource for Network Education. It is represented by the network and involves the teaching contents and the teaching activities of a course. People are paying more and more attention to this kind of new education method, with the characteristics of teaching environment and goodly reciprocity. But in actual network education application, there are not so many high-qualified network courses. One of the main reasons is the lack of systematic specialized research on the construction of network courses. Therefore, this paper expects to study such aspects.Through analyzes and counts references on network course research in china, this thesis has taken the study focal on current network course research and introduced its disadvantage. Then through analyzes the traditional developing mode of network course, this thesis comes up with the feasibility, scientific and rationality of the engineerization development of network course. And by the Comparison of several kinds of developing modes, obtains the sphere of application of developing modes. At last, the author combines his experience on developing network course with the mode of engineerization development to do some case study, make a conclusion on the engineerization development of network course.The content of this article is included:Part I: Introduction. Combined with the background of this research to discuss the meaning and main contents of it.Part II: Summary. At the first, explained and summed up some basic concepts in this subject, determined the theme of it, and then submitted the fundamental principles which have to obey during the period of engineerization development of network course.PartIII: Research modes of network course. Explained and concluded a flow chart and main characteristics of several traditional developing modes of network course such as network course development based on instructional design, based on learning task, and based on software engineering. Then submits engineerization development modes based on software engineering. After introduce the characteristics of engineerization development of network course, the author describes specific content of engineerization development in every stage and concludes its basic features. At last, compared and analyzed these several kind of developing modes. Part IV: Case Analysis. This part which analyzes the case, narrates the basic process of engineerization development of network course and the problem in this process is the core of this thesis. This thesis takes the top-quality course "science" as an example, divides the developing stages into five stages. These five stages are different neither from its goal nor its task. Through research into the case, this part concludes the obvious advantage of engineerization development, and provides experience and example to develop other network courses.Part V: This part pointed out the network erroneous of engineerization development on understood, and analyze the future for the engineerization development of network course.
