The infidelity in committed relationships of this paper referred to dating, co-habiting and marriage partnerships, and discussed the sex differences from three facets including the, types and the ways of coping.First, on the basis of the infidelity questionnaire (INFQ), the research informed two versions scale on the betrayal reason of male and female. Then, according to the literature review, the existing domestic research and open questionnaire, to formed betrayal clues, target words and attribute words rating scales. So the researcher can pick the betrayal clues sentences as well as words material from them for the explicit memory experiment and the IAT experiment. Ultimately, the research investigated the sex difference on mate retention strategy of dating and married groups, along with the influence of men's mate value on women's strategy selection. The results of the research showed:(1) The committed relationship betrayal reason scale has good reliability and validity. The dimension is similar with INFQ, having a subjective intent, sexual factors, emotional loss and the growth experience.(2) Women always attributed the betrayal of men to sensation seeking. Men always attributed the betrayal of women to realistic. Women are more likely to the betrayal of the men return for subjective intent and sexual factors, while men are more willing to put women's betrayal to subjective intent and sexual factors. Men who had betrayed experience are more likely to attribute to sexual factors and the growth experience. This also verified the evolutionary hypothesis to a certain degree. (3) Men recalled more sexual infidelity sentences than emotional infidelity, which supports evolutionary hypothesis. But women recalled less sexual infidelity sentences than emotional infidelity. Besides, emotional infidelity implicit attitude are positive than sexual infidelity. Research found no gender differences in implicit attitude. The results also different from evolutionary hypothesis.(4) Mate retention inventory-short form (MRI-SF) has high reliability and validity in China, bisexual exist significant differences in both strategies application options. The results of the study show that, men are always by providing resources, women by dressing-up strategy to keep partner. Men will put more effort to include vigilance, monopolization of time, physical possession signals in the event of facing potential competitors.(5) Dating and married group varied in concealment of mate, commitment manipulation, and derogation of competitors, resource display, sexual inducements, appearance enhancement, submission and debasement, possessive ornamentation. Dating group was significantly higher than the married group in submission and debasement strategy. Namely partner in date show more obedient and tolerance than married couples to each other. Married couples than love more inclined to concealment of mate, commitment manipulation, derogation of competitors, etc. Moreover, married group had a total score significantly higher than dating group, this also evolutionary hypothesis. Individuals will put more effort to keep spouse for long-time partner.(6) In the influencing factors for strategic choice of partners, a women's perception of the spouse mate value, will affect its spouse keep strategy application. Women who consider that the spouse mate value is higher, will employ more vigilance, concealment of mate, derogation of competitors, sexual inducements, submission and debasement, possessive ornamentation, etc. It also meet expectations of the theory of evolution.
