China's economy has been rapidly increasing after more than thirty years of reform and opening up, and China becomes the second largest economy in the world. At the same time the new mode of producing and life style get people lack of physical activity and psychological pressure increase, especially for the youth in China. The health condition of young people in China has been decreasing since the 1990s, and it has aroused great concern of the government and society. To improve health level of the youth requires the concerted efforts of all of society. Sports and health program is important way to strengthen students'health, and that has far-reaching significance in improving the quality of health of the whole nation.The writer select 186 students who study in Xi Jiao School in Shanghai Chang Ning District and Jian Bang School in Shanghai Jia Ding District for the research, and 92 students come from Xi Jiao School and the other belong to Jian Bang School. The writer will collect data with four teachers and each two are from one school. The data conclude all testee's:(1) the height and weight (2) the gender, age and grade; (3) the record of P.E. After that the researchers issued questionnaires to students and take back when they were completed. By comparison and data analysis of the data, the writer get following conclusions:1. The perceived self-efficacy and perceive benefit of Shanghai' students strongly impact physical activity. The high level of self-efficacy can promote students' confidence and courage them overcome the difficulty. It can also develop the interests in physical activity. The high level of perceived benefit is beneficial to mobilize the initiative to participate in the physical activities that favor the psychological health and social adaptation training.2. The perceived benefits of students who come from the school in Shanghai central urban has a significant difference from that are in Shanghai rural areas. The perceived benefit can promote students to take part in physical activities. The differences between urban and rural areas, for example, economic conditions, sports facilities and communication, influence students to participate in physical activities. But the self-efficacy of students from two schools that are located in urban and rural areas in Shanghai is not different, but the average level of the latter is higher. Students in center are more interested in participation and they set a suitable target. Rural students are confidential in their abilities and will continue to try new goals.
