There is a correlation between students' academic self-efficacy and their academic achievements and psychological health. And it has a great effect on students'life styles and academic performances. So it is significant to educate students'academic self-efficacy. Moreover, the academic self-efficacy has function on students'academic achievements through influencing their cognition. Therefore, the study focuses on this point to investigate whether the imagery training can improve students' academic self-efficacy or not.The study takes the freshmen in junior middle school as participants, and the investigator gives the class of imagery training to the experimental group three times a week:on the basis of self-recognition, students make an advance imitation to the positive results by imagery to enhance the individual's response to activities and the performances model is formed. And finally, develop their faculties to the maximal extent. In the process of studying, the author takes the training class as the major instrument as well as games and discussion in groups. The imagery training lasts for a semester, the analyses of the data of this study as follows:1. The imagery training has a positive significance on academic self-efficacy, and the academic self-efficacy of students is improved by imagery training.2. The imagery training can enhance the students'academic self-efficacy as well as promote the academic achievement.3. It is feasible and available to use imagery training to raise the students' academic self-efficacy.
