Empirical Research On The Influence Of Internet Download On College Students' Socialization

This paper, based on theories of socialization, from the the perspective of infulence of internet downloads technology on socialization of college students, we discussed the influence of network communication technology on socialization of college students.We studied the basic status of internet downloads usage of college students from the frequency, habit and content of downloads. We used college students in Shanghai as objects, and document analysis, questionnaire surveys and interviews as research methods.We analyzed the influence of internet downloads technology on socializatin of college students from three aspects:individuality formation and development, internalization of cultural values, life skills and social roles.The survey shows that internet downloads has been daily behavior of college students and an integral part of network life. Internet downloads has become an important way of get learning materials and network entertainment, most of the students keep a positive attitude to the impact of internet downloads.Further analysis on the usage of internet downloads to socialization impact of college students shows conclusions as follows:first, as an external factor, the positive impact of internet downloads on the development of students personality is maily on the autonomy; sencond,internet downloads have greater impact on sense of worth, students often use the internet downloads have more awareness of cultural sharing; and finally, internet downloads have positive impact on gaining life skills of students, and will help students on self-cultivation.
