Problems And Countermeasures Of College Students，Political Socialization In The Network Environment

The revolution will make great influence on the production of our society everytime. With the quick development of the information technology and the wide usage ofthe network, our life patterns change a lot. Network, which indeed makes great impacton our social life, has been our second life. However, university students, as the mosttypical group with subsumption, are always agile to take in something new. And thisphenomenon is reflected in the whole process of their political socialization. To someextent, network plays an important role in the obtaining the social information,evaluating the political events, as well as delivering their own ideas. As the universitystudents are not able to judge the political socialization rationally, we should care aboutthe side effects brought by the network the same time when it benefits them. In order torecognize the influence brought by the network comprehensively, this thesis willanalyze the formation of the influence that network makes on universitystudents’political socialization. On the other hand, it will implore the effective measuresto restrain the problems and promote students to develop healthily in their politicalsocialization.This paper can be divided into three parts. The first part is focused on thecollection and analysis of the documents on the political socialization by universitystudents. At the same time, it will classify the basic theories on political socialization.Though, these theories have been systematically shaped in the west countries, most ofwhich assemble in the Occident countries and are characterized with the special political,historical and cultural background. However, there are many scholars who have gotgreat achievements in this field in our country, the research core is multifaceted, and theresearch frame is not comprehensive. What’s more, the research objects are oftenconfined to teenagers, therefore, the university students are seldom researched. Thesecond part analyzes the influences that network makes on university students’politicalsocialization. Living at the age of network, university students can collect the politicalinformation faster and more conveniently at a low cost, which promotesstudents’enthusiasm to participate the political activities. Meanwhile, it will make someside effects such as unreasonable use of network. The last part mainly proposes some effective measures to the side effects brought by network. We will create a safe, healthyand fair network environment by network supervision and improvement of the law.
