Western women's liberation movement originated in the 19th century, forming its own unique theoretical system and a variety of genres after two hundred years of evolution and the baptism of three waves. Contemporary western feminism also concerns the existing theory of citizenship education. They question the theory of building citizen-based civil society, which attempts to use homogeneous universal discourse instead of differences, in order to cover up the exclusion of women and other vulnerable groups under the patriarchal system. While recognizing the ethical basis of fairness and justice, feminist respect for individual differences, admit women's unique moral experience and feelings, and practice it into the public political domain. This paper summarizes feminist theory challenges the theory of civic education point of view and analysis of problems in the field of education, to extract the characteristics of feminist demands of citizens and the way the practice of civic education. Aiming at personnel training for the concept of the deviation, and meeting the education reform voices to make a few good references in China.This Paper is divided into four parts:The first part elaborates feminist theories on the challenge of leading civic education, including the question of the homogeneous type of civil society, the advice of "differences" citizen, expression of the moral voice of women, the application of ethic of care from private areas into the political areas, and the peaceful application of maternal thinking.The second part puts forward feminist citizens are demanding on the basis of critical defects today's education: the ability to have a caring and fair sense of justice. The ability to care, including caring for self, caring for people around, caring for strangers and away from themselves, caring for animals, plants and earth, caring for the material world which human beings create and caring for knowledge; fair sense of justice including the fighting for equal rights, a sense of participation and ability, and commitment to peace.The third part explains the way of feminist practice of civic education, including the Education of the principle of concern around the theme, emphasizing the continuity; empowerment, experience sharing and critical thinking in the classroom strategies; participatory and conversational teacher-student relationship and community service learning to promote caring.The fourth part explores the education of our citizens and enlightenment:to strengthen the caring capacity on the aims of education; to respect for inequality and differences on the philosophy of education; to integrate personal experience and emphasize the student voice on the process of education, to create a caring classroom and school on the environment of education.
