The attitude of physical exercise refers to an integration of cognitive evaluation, emotion experience and action tendency that the individual hold on sports activities. Due to the pressures from society, work and family, the majority of teachers in modern society, generally are in"sub-healthy"state, especially the middle school teachers. The right attitude of physical exercise is the premise of lifelong physical behavior, because the attitude of physical exercise involved in regulating the people's behavior choice and behavioral responses in sports, and affects the effectiveness and efficiency of physical education and exercise. Therefore, it is very necessary to study the teachers'attitude of physical exercise. By the means of literature, surveys and interviews, on the base of the survey to 234 secondary school teachers of from 5 school of Handan County, Hebei Province, this thesis studies the teachers'different attitude towards physical exercise and the main barrier elements of physical exercise from different gender, different age, different types of the secondary school. The survey results show as the followings.1.Han Dan Xian secondary school teachers'attitude to physical exercise overall is positive and the cognition is objective, clear, comprehensive. for physical exercise, they has better emotional experience and active intention of participating physical exercise and receive little impact from others. However, there are still a few teachers own the negative attitude to physical exercise and their control ability of physical exercise is very weak;2.From gender perspective, both of the male and female secondary school teachers'attitudes of physical exercise in Handan Country are positive and optimistic. According to T-test, the different gender teachers have significantly difference in attitude to the recognition physical exercise, and male teachers'emphasis on physical exercise is significantly higher than female teachers (p < 0.05);3.According to age, the secondary school teachers'attitude of physical exercise in Handan Country has no significant difference in all indexes by F examination (p > 0.05);4.According to the category of school, the Middle School teachers'attitude of physical exercise in Handan Country has no difference in all indexes by F examination (p >0.05); 5. The main elements that hinder Middle School teachers'physical exercise in Handan country consist of internal element and external element. Internal element refers to subjective factors, including: no exercise habits, inertness, the weak willpower, not interest, healthy body without needing physical exercise, the hatred of sports activities, events do not suit oneself behavior characteristics. The main reason is the teacher's consciousness of physical exercise is weak. External elements refer to objective factors, which can be divided into individual aspect and environment aspect. The individual aspect consists of heavy work, physical and mental fatigue, the limit of economic, lack of leisure time; the environmental aspect consists of the inconvenience of exercise site, no partner, lack of guidance, sports facilities and sports organizations. The objective reason mainly is caused by national economic backwardness and severely social competition.
