| The word"humor"is often used in everyday life. In the last 60 years, it had received attention in Western psychology, and a large number of studies had showed that humor is very benefit for physical and mental health. However, different style humor affects different aspects of health in different ways. In recent years researchers have begun to notice that we should use humor in right ways, not all of the humor is benefit for physical and mental health. Recently, Martin, Puhlik Doris, Gray etc proposed four sub-scale model of humor, named affiliative humor, self-enhancing humor, aggressive humor, self-defeating humor. The first two kinds are potentially benefited to the health, and the last two kinds are potentially harmful to the health.The study of humor style in our country is very little, where these studies in domestic psychology filed are basically testing and verifying foreign theory and only study the relationship between variables, and the measurement tools they used are simple amendments of the foreigns', the results show that the reliability and validity of the table revised are not high. Because the ideas about humor and humor style are different between East and West culture, we shoud discuss humor based on Chinese culture, revise a appropriate table to measure Chinese humor. On this basis, we study the Relationship between humor style and coping style.Conducting this study, I reviewed more than 70 articles to study the connotation and structure of the humor styles, as well as the status of the domestic study firstly. After this, I reanalysis the structure of the humor style. Based on this work, I consulted 32 college students in semi-contructure interview. Then, according to the theory and consulted results, I developed the initial Humor styles of college students in China questionnaire. After implementing the initial questionnaire, according to item analysis and exploratory factor analysis to immending the questionnaire and deleting the improper items, formed the formal Humor styles of college students in China questionnaire. Implementing the formal questionnaire, then analysis the reliability and validity of the formal questionnaire, results showed that it has good reliability and validity. Finally, invited the college students to do the formal questionnaire and the coping styles questionnaire developed by Jiang qianjin to study the relationship of humor styles and coping styles. The results as follows:1,Humor styles of college students is a multidimention structure, according to the exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, it has four factors, that is affiliative humor, elf-enhancing humor, aggressive humor, self-defeating humor.2,The revised Humor styles of college students questionnaire's reliability and validity are good enough. Each subquestionnaires'Cronbachαare from 0.759 to 0.844; the split- reliability is 0.797.And the coefficient indexes of construction validity are:χ2/df=2.89,RMSEA=0.044,GFI=0.917,AGFI=0.903,NFI=0.868,TLI=0.901,CFI=0.909。3,Humor styles of college students exist significant differences in gender on the factor of aggressive humor, self-defeating humor. Boys are incline to use the aggressive humor, self-defeating humor.4,Humor styles of college students among different grades has significant differences on the factor of aggressive humor and affiliative humor, junior used affiliative humor more than senior, and freshman and sophomore are more significantly used the aggressive humor than junior and senior. And there are no significant differences in major on four factors of humor style.5,Urban college students and rural college students has significant differences on the affiliative humor, rural college students used more affiliative humor than Urban college students. And only-child college students also used more affiliative humor than non-child.6,Active coping style significantly positive predict the affiliative humor and self-enhancing humor, negative coping style. Negative coping style significantly positive predict the aggressive humor, self-defeating humor.
