This study aimed to explore the statistical differences exist between the students come from three schools in self-worth and coping styles, and aimed to explore the interaction between the self-worth and Coping styles. First middle school is a key middle school of province level, the second middle school is a key middle school of city level, the third middle school is a general middle school. And 746 middle school students were tested. The results were as follow. (1) There is evident correlation between the self-worth and coping styles of middle school students. (2)The Global self-worth and the General self-worth of the students of the province key middle school are evidently higher than that of the students of the city key middle school and the general middle school. And between the city key middle school and general middle school, the Global self-worth have significant difference, while the general self-worth have not significant difference. (3)Difference in school for coping styles are significant. The students of the province key middle school tend to choose. Problem-solving and seeking supporting while the students of the general middle school choose the fantasy. withdraw and tolerate more. The students of the city key middle school is not more positive than that of the province key middle school and not more negative than that of the general middle school. (4)There exists a significant coping-styles difference. Students with high self- worth tend to choose problem-solving and seeking supporting while the students with low self-worth choose the fantasy withdraw and tolerate more. (5)Better the school spirit, Higher the students?self-esteem and more positive the students?coping styles. The school with worse spirit on the contrary.
