Research On The Development Of Online Course-"Employment Guidance" In University Based On Data Mining

The scale of higher education is expanding unceasingly in our country especially from elite education to mass education. With the increasing number of college graduates, the attendant employment problem is being increasingly prominent. College students is a group condenses with the countless hope and sight of the state, society and families. How to help them find a job which is suitable for their profession and special abilities is the important issue that each university commonly faced. Employment guidance course is to guide and help college students fully understand their own characteristics and social demands that ultimately can be successfully employed. It is also a valid and necessary way to solving the difficult employment problem of college students and improving the employment rate at present. Under the environment of web technologies widely used, designing and developing network curriculum of employment guidance becomes the key point of our research.This paper gives an introduction of the idea of data mining. As the database technology becomes more mature, the information stored in the database is also exploding. According to survey, more than 80% of the data in most universities'database are just simply stored there, the potential information hidden in these data are rarely found or used. Author studies the student achievement information of the education management system in the S University, employment information for students in employment database ,combining the performance of students in school, using feature selection algorithm based on Support Vector Machine(SVM), identified the intrinsic relationship of the information in these different databases . On this basis, proposed network career guidance program design ideas and the design process, and thus give a more targeted employment guidance for college students and help them secure employment.The first part of the paper introduces the background, the meaning and the purpose of the research to make readers have a whole knowledge of the paper. The second part of the paper elaborates theoretical foundations curricular design of network employment guidance based on. The third part of the paper summarizes the data mining technology and introduces emphatically the related concepts and principles of SVM. The fourth part is the key part of this paper, it processes and analyzes data based on data collection, and finally gets the results of the experiment to analyze its referenced function on curricular construction of network employment guidance. The last part of the paper is the conclusion,summarizes deficiencies of the study and the future development.
