Current Research On The Sports Skills Teaching In Junior High Schools In Shanghai

Hoping to find out the cognition and emphasis of sports skills teaching among teachers and pupils, this dissertation makes an analysis on the sports skills teaching in physical education of junior high schools in Shanghai by the methods of literature, questionnaire, interview, observation and statistics. The correlation between sports skills teaching and the curriculum reform of sports pedagogy. The factors that influence the sports skills teaching in physical education.The conclusions are:(1) sports skills teaching is not reduced significantly in junior high schools; (2)sports skills teaching goals are completed better than expected;(3) the sports skills of pupils are at the medium level;(4) the proportion of sports skills teaching is at a high level in physical education;(5)advanced teaching evaluation methods are applied in sports pedagogy.This dissertation also puts forward some advises on the sports skills teaching: first, sports pedagogy should attach importance to the sports skills teaching; second, sports skill teaching goals should be more concrete so that pupils could comprehend and understand; third, the interest and difference of pupils should be concerned; fourth, the convergence of sports skills teaching between primary schools and junior high schools; fifth, teaching methods of sports skills should be innovated and modern teaching tools should be utilized; sixth, exploring integrated teaching evaluation methods to make sure that the sports skills of pupils could be reflected; the last and also the foremost, teachers should provide more technical guidance for the pupils not only in physical education, but also in the physical activities process.
