Part Of The District Of Shanghai Junior Middle School Sports Teaching Environment Present Situation Investigation And Countermeasure Research

Teaching environment is one of the most important factors ofeducation, it hasa direct effect on education quality. This effect will become moreobvious in Physicaleducation because the lessons always take place both inside andoutside of thoseclassrooms. Therefore, it is worth to optimize teaching environment toimprovephysical education quality.This paper presents a research to investigate the influence of theteaching environment on middle school physical education throughliterature review, questionnaire and mathematical statistics methods.Study data were obtained from interviews with108physical educationteachers and772middle school students from16middle schools in fourdistricts in shanghai. The questionnaires cover seven parts, which arenatural environment, sports ground, facilities, class arrangement, schoolphysical climate, PE class teaching climate and relationship in school.Through the data analysis, the results revealed the problem of physicaleducation. According to these problems, physical education teachingenvironment optimization measures will be explored in order to improvethe physical education quality.Qualitative and quantitative analysis indicated the followingfindings:1. For natural environment, junior high school students and teachersconsidered that temperature and humidity are the major factors which affect physical education. Therefore, it is necessary to work out propermethods to solve the problems.2. Physical teaching is mainly affected by the lack of sports grounds;wide rangeof sports equipments and facilities can satisfy the requirements of dailyphysical teaching. However, with the improvement of living standard,more and more people will concern about the quality of sportsequipments and facilities.3. Lots of schools in the survey attempt to pay more attention tophysicaleducation in the teaching psychological environment. Students aremotivated by good learning climate, interesting lesson content, andvariety of teaching methods.4. The closer the relationship between teachers and students, thebetter the physical education quality is.
