From the anthropological point of view, I use anthropologicalmethods to study the relation between education and economy in Jinlongtown Longzhou district. First,I gather information which is related to thehistory and current situation of education and economic through literatureand fieldwork. After collation, analysis, comparison, I finally reach aconclusion.Jinlong town's economy is still dominated by agriculture, people'smain source of income comes from sugar cane planting and migrantworkers's income. The structure of agriculture has shifted gradually, andthe economic center of Jinlong has started to change from agricultural tonon-agricultural production, while the migrant workers is a key factor inthe current economic restructuring.In recent years, the town has made significant development ineducation, infrastructure continue to improve the standard of teaching hasincreased, the index has reached the required standard in autonomousregion, and the level of awareness of the importance of educationincreased a lot than before. However, while education has been greatlydeveloped in school,it has a significant impact on the traditional way ofeducation - social education degradation, lack of family education is thethe main problems which traditional way of education are facing. Theschool education also have many inherent problems itself,and the mostcritical issue is the quality of teachers and comprehensive development ofstudents.With depicton of education and economyc above, I discuss therelation between education and economy in the chapter. For Jinlong town,the education has improved the local human capital, thus contributing tothe Jinlong's economic growth and economic restructuring. Jinlongtown's economic restructuring has just started,and it made more requeststo the local education.
