| This study used literature, expert interviews, measurement, statistical analysis and other methods. In order to classify the sports group, the study used 456 young athletes being 15 to 19 year-old as subjects, who are from Liaoning Sports School, Shenyang Sports School, Anshan Sports School, Fushun Sports School. The athletes'professions are basketball, volleyball, soccer, badminton, table tennis and judo. By the WT-athlete personality scale (WTCAIA), this study measured, compared and analyzed the personality traits of 456 althletes. From the analysis, we can understand the altheltes'character traits from techuniques dominated antagonism groups different sports, and provide a theoretical basis to coaches in the future training, competition as well as selection for athletes.The results showed that:(1) There is a significant difference in dimensions of character traits among the athletes of basketball, volleyball, soccer, badminton, table tennis, judo.(2) Basketball young athletes have a strong tolerance,be adept in control of his emotions and actions. Volleyball young athletes with poor patience , within, easy to tension, no self-confidence and lack of creativity. Soccer young athletes outward , strong tolerance. Badminton young athletes have good adaptability and tolerance,within. Table tennis young athletes have creativity, inward, poor adaptability and anxiety. Judo young athletes vigorousness, not self-confident and impulsive.(3) Youth sports athletes of confrontation with the field have a strong desire to win, have more energy, and have strong abilities of endurance and control. They are able to analyze things rationally. The young athletes of confrontational sports networks across have emotional stability, a strong self-confidence, and hard dare to take risks and admit defeat. The young athletes of fighting confrontational sports are energetic,willing to participate in various activities, and have a high level of mental activation, facing difficulties without fear.
