By means of questionnaire, documents, data, comparative analysis, symbolic statistics, interview and so on, this paper targets the development actuality of Wushu in universities and colleges in Shenyang under the background of Sunshine Sports, researches Sunshine Sports nowadays, Wushu teacher, students and principals of physical department in universities and colleges in Shenyang, compares the development condition of Wushu before and after Sunshine Sports are carried out, and discusses how to develop Wushu in universities and colleges under the background of Sunshine Sports.Results: after a comparative analysis of Sunshine Sports and the main factors affecting Wushu's development in universities and colleges in Shenyang, it is found that the function of Wushu is compatible with the healthy thought of Sunshine Sports. As to the objectives, the forms, the content and the facilities, there are conditions for Sunshine Sports to be carried out extensively in universities and colleges in Shenyang. Sunshine Sports can also offer suggestions to the problems in the development of Wushu in universities and colleges.1.The function of Wushu can be fully embodied in Sunshine Sports: the function of Wushu is compatible with the healthy thought of Sunshine Sports.2.Sunshine Sports greatly promote the expansion of Wushu in universities and colleges: after Sunshine Sports are carried out, the content of Wushu is enriched, its class hours increase obviously, the forms are varied, the teaching environment of Wushu is greatly improved, and the facilities can basically meet the needs of carrying out Sunshine Sports.3.Before Sunshine Sports are carried out in universities and colleges in Shenyang, Wushu teachers didn't focus on the obverse promotion and education of Wushu.
