In recent years, curling is emerging technology Racing project in china,more and more people understand this,not merely match but also skill and tactics Documentary data, expert interview, mathematical statistics, logical, comparative analysis and video observation were applied to reached a conclusion on their basic stroke techniques and strategy.This article attempts to provide a comparative analysis on tactics between Chinese curling team and the most powerful curling teams selected from North America, Europe and Asia respectively. The author, assissted by the most advanced curling statistical software , conducted a study. Over the video files of the four teams who participated in the 2009 Korea Women's Curling Championships, 2009 Pan Pacific Curling tounerment and the european championships held in Scotland at the end of the 2009. This paper firstly puts forward the research approach and curling strategic system basing on the pitch-pot data statistics, proves the viability and analyzes the advantage targeting on this research approach, then introduces statistical software and explicates the concepts of tactics and technical skill.Targeting on the curling technical skill and tactics system, this paper analyzes the technical skill and tactics dealing with the object study, which can be divided into two parts: one is technical skill statistics and analysis, the other is tactical statistics and analysis. With careful and complete study of the two parts, this paper sums up the general technical characteristics of each team and pitch-pot skill characteristics of each player. Though the viewdata and the location of curling coming from the statistics software, this paper analyzes the general and concrete strategies of each player, which varies as the differences of first and second playing, rounds, score and ice surface condition.This paper makes a summary on the technical and tactical characteristics of the Chinese curling team and points out its existing weekness. Combined with the team technical and tactical advantages, It also makes an overall strategy on how to implement a more scientific training and competition for the coaches. Through comprehensive analysis, this paper indicates the exsiting gap between the national women's curling team and world powers in terms of technology, tactics, game experience. This paper conscientiously sums up experiences, identify problems and makes appropriate comments and suggestions to lay a sound foundations for our women's curling team to achieve more achievements.
