Comparative Analysis Of The Skills And Tactics Of Chinese Women's Volleyball Team And Opponents In The 2014 World Women's Volleyball Championship

In the 2014 Volleyball Women's World Championship, the Chinese National Women's Volleyball Team entered the final again after 16 years, but finished runners-up against America.This thesis studies game videos of the Chinese team and other 8 teams in the 2014 Volleyball Women's World Championship including, America, Italy, Brazil, Dominica, Puerto Rico, Belgium, Cuba and Japan by using research methods like Documentary Analysis Method, Video statistical method, Mathematical statistics method and comparative analytical method. It conducts comprehensive comparative analysis and research of the Chinese National Women's Volleyball Team and other opponents in terms of basic situation, technical and tactical application of service, service reception, setting, first attack, counter attacking, rear guard and blocking. And it sorts out our team's advantages and disadvantages of technical and tactical application.By comparing these data, the author believes that the Chinese team holds advantages of player selection, service, setting, fast attack and blocking. Meanwhile, the Chinese team should work to optimize the structure of player selection, strengthen offensive service and service reception, and enhance the stability and forceful attacking ability of back-row guard players.
