| Along with the development of multimedia and network technology, modern distance education has been developed and popularized rapidly. So, an important task faced us and needed to solve urgently is to construct a new mode of continuing education and studying for life, which is untraditional and not limited to the region and time. Based on the comparison of those existing distance education systems and the analysis of their advantages and disadvantages, this paper puts forward a modern distance education system framework which is based on internet network and implemented by web technology. It also provides an overall solution scheme of the distance education system, and puts forward the feasible implementation methods to the server and client end respectively. Especially to the specific implementation of the asynchronous mutual teaching mode on the teacher-client end, some involved key technologies are investigated and discussed in detail in this paper, and they have attained success in practice.
