Internet in the last decades has attracted many researchers from several fields,while in education academia, this is still a novel field under investigation. This paper is an initial attempt made on probing into the impacts cyberculture has produced on quality education in China.This paper contains five chapters.The first chapter is a brief introduction, including the proposal of the problem, the research angle, relevant concepts, the means of data collection and research methods.The second chapter will further on to quality education. Firstly, an overview of Chinese education history which laid emphasis on training quality of people will be examined. Then, a clear defining of 憅uality?and 憅uality education?follows. As this paper is mainly concerned with how cyberculture produces influences on quality education, a close-up will be given to the core of quality education梩o rain people with creativity.The third chapter will look in detail into cybcrculture and its influence on intellectual education, particularly at the relationship between information and modem education, and various utilization of internet in education. Distance education would be put forward and made brief analysis on, including its characteristics, development, strong points and prospects in the future.The fourth chapter will discuss another aspect in education: moral education It focuses on the Cyber-moral education part and put forward several maneuverable means to solve the problem: how can educators carry on cybcr-moral education?Having established an understanding of cyberculture and its influence on education from intellectual and moral aspects in general, the fourth chapter is to propose a solution on the problem of how to adapt internet for quality education. virtual university. A model under field trials would be introduced, which would help readers make comparison between learning in traditional classroom and the virtual classroom.it is expected that this paper could serve as a prelude to the march for education in entering the 21st century, in which cyberculture will play an important role in promoting life-long learning, which is one of the most important contents of quality education.
