Internet is one of the inventions that have tremendous impact on our society. It not only created a wealth of materials, but also deeply influenced our styles of living and working. Even people抯 idea of values has been greatly changed. The problem of privacy in cyberspace is just an issue brought forth with the birth of Internet. Nowadays, threat to privacy has already existed widely in that digital network. While, in China, attention having been paid to it is far from enough. In order to call on people抯 care to privacy online, a through investigation about the internal and external situations of it, including the potential attackers and the probable methods they may use, were made in this article. After analyzing sociologically the motives and possible consequences of such conducts, considering the particular civil and social environment of China, and speculating the future development of Internet in our country, a comprehensive program to protect Chinese right to privacy online was finally proposed. Aiming at working efficiently in a special Chinese circumstances, this propam is composed organically of education, technology progress, industry抯 self-regulation, legislation and international cooperation.
