The technology of modern education has had a profound and pervasive impact on the mathematics teaching in Secondary education. In order to meet the need of social development, the New standards of curriculum explicitly requires that the design and implementation of mathematics curriculum should put more emphasis on the adoption of modern technology, especially the influences of calculator and computer on the contents and menthols of mathematics learning. Therefore, it further suggests that Worland exploit and offer abundant learning resources for the students, and make the technology of modern education a strong and helpful method for the students to learn mathematics and solve problems. The objective is that the technology of modern education would greatly change the students' learning methods and encourage them to put more efforts and energy to the practical, exploratory learning activities. In accordance with this requirement, this study presented the computer assistant teaching of mathematics in secondary school and carried out the corresponding exploration form both theoretical and practical perspectives.This dissertation provided detailed analyses and discussions on the necessity,feasibility and theoretical foundations of computer assistant teaching in mathematics in terms of the viewpoint of modern education and the needs of mathematics teaching reform in secondary school. It also elucidated the relevant teaching principles (i.e. the high-efficiency principle, the principle of integration of multiple teaching methods, subjective principle, the principle of optimization of teaching design and the principle of process), teaching method (i.e. situational teaching method, observe & find teaching method, discussion & conversation teaching method, self-teaching by guiding through network method, and teaching patters (i.e. lecture go demonstration pattern, learning & practice pattern, individual teaching & learning pattern, mutually cooperative learning pattern, simulated learning pattern, teaching through network pattern and open learning pattern ). At the same time, me also gave a practical teaching plan to show its feasibility. Finally, conclusions were drawn and attentions were called on some problems worthy of noticing.We hold that this study may shed some significant light on fostering the inform of mathematics teaching in secondary school on promoting the quality of teaching, on reducing students' learning burden and on the implementation of competence education.
