| Women education is one of the hot issues in resent research field. In the past, people paid more attention on the socioeconomic factors when they look at the unbalanced educational opportunities of women. With the development in research, people begin to see some more concealed factors in the unbalanced educational opportunities due to the difference in academic achievements. Especially in the daily life, people have many false ideas toward academic achievements, such as woman is not as good as man and woman can't learn better in science. These ideas are not only hold by common people, some teachers hold these ideas too. This sets big obstacles for the improvement of schoolgirl in their academic achievements and give bad influence in their development. So, Making clear whether there exist gender gap in high school's academic achievements between boys and girls, what the trend of the difference is and why its so, can not only provide concrete suggestions for our school education, and also they can shed some ideas on woman education and development of woman.This research, based on the investigation of the huikao grades, through thoroughly analysis revealed the basic situation and its characteristics, at the some time, combined with the investigation and related research, we analyses the reasons for the difference in academic achievements. At the last we provided some suggestions in improving our education in high school.This article contains five parts:Part one: The origins of the question. We introduced the research background, objectives and the meaning of this article.Part two: The summaries of current research on this question. We not only cleaned up the related research and also discussed the gender gap hi intelligence and the relationship between academic achievements and it, based on the discussing of current research; we brought up our research question.Part three: The analysis of data. Based on the data got from investigation, we get a thorough analysis of the difference of academic achievements of Changing in total, in every subject and the deviation of subjects between boys and girls.Part four: The characteristics of the differences in academic achievements and itscausation. We point out that in the total girls is as good as boys, and in the subjects, the difference is getting wider. In this regards, we analysis the causations of the difference.Part five: The educational counterpart of the gender gap in academic achievements. According to the results from the analysis of investigation's data, we provided some suggestions for our middle school education. |
