The suitable exercise intensity for women aged 61-65 years has not been established. To determine this,32 essential health old women(mean age=63.16?1.48) were studied throughout a 8-week (3~4time/week,30min/time)aerobic exercise(walking) with deferent intensity. They were divided into three group depend on the percentage of function capacity(F.C.):The group 1:30%-45% F.C. (n=9); The group2: 46%- 60% F.C.(n=ll); The group3: 61%~75%F.C.(n=12).The results showed as follows:F.C.. cardiorespiratory fitness( inclose SV,C1,EF,FS and vital capacity, sit-stand test),TG,TC,LDL-C,HDL-C. diastolic BP. body fat weight, body fat percentage. BMI. body weight, waist girth and hip girth were changed before versus after 8-week aerobic exercise with 30%~45% F.C.. lean weight, the single foot stand with closed eyes test, the hand-eyes coordination test, the muscle weight of low legs, reaction time unchanged.Besides most of the benefits of group 1 obtained, not only the significant reductions of systolic and diastolic BP were observed but also the single foot stand with closed eyes test, the hand-eyes coordination test were effected positively in group 2. Lean weight, HDL-C. the muscle weight of low legs, reaction time unchanged.The lean weight was significant higher in the group 3. And it had a little of effect to F.C., cardiorespiratory fitness, TG, TC,LDL-C,HDL-C,BP, body fat weight, body fat percentage. BMI, body weight, waist size and hip size.The results of the research showed, it should chose different intensityfor old women to get different purpose of physical fitness.The conclusions can be drown out of the above results :I.It is the suitable exercise intensity for women aged 61-65 years to take 30%-45%F.C (2.05-3.08 METs) as the main purposes to improve cardiorespiratory fitness and reduce the risks of AS and IHD.2.This study support to use 30%F.C. -45% as a minimal effective training intensity for women aged 61-65 years.3.It is the suitable exercise intensity for women aged 61-65 years to take 45%-75% F.C.as the main purposes to reduce resting BP (3.12-5.13METs) .4.It is the suitable exercise intensity for women aged 61-65 years to take 61%-75%F.C (4.17 -5.13METs) as the main purposes to increase the lean weight and strengthen the muscle weight of thigh and shin.
