Exploration And Pratice On Applying Modern Educational Technology In Middle-school Mathematics Teaching

This paper gives a discussion on the theory and practice of applying modern educational technology in mathematics teaching.The article begins with the analysis on the development of modern educational technology, expounding its advantages and theoretical foundation, which exerts great influence on every aspect of traditional education, especially on the education concepts, teaching modes, and roles of teachers and students. Compared with that of developed countries, educational technology aiding teaching in our country is far from maturity. Now our education reform is under way, aiming at the principles to solve the present problems in educational technology. With many years of mathematical teaching and far-sighted investigation into the teaching software used in middle schools, the author finishes a book "practical courses on Geometer's Sketchpad?a software for the senior middle schools' students to learn mathematics".
