In secondary vocational schools,mathematical teaching not only undertakes responsibility for the professional-skill-course service,but also considers the students'comprehensive quality as the primary task to achieve.In recent years,the quality of the student resource has been obviously declining in secondary vocational schools,meanwhile,students from these schools are cultural grounding thin,especially relatively poor in mathematical basis,and lack of learning enthusiasm."The Secondary vocational school mathematics teaching syllabus"(New)asks new requirements for the secondary vocational students' special abilities.In order to be better on developing mathematical teaching and carrying out the requirements of new syllabus for mathematics servicing professional courses,teachers may reasonably carry out teaching by means of the Geometer's Sketchpad,with matching mathematical experiment courses.Teachers aim at strengthening secondary vocational students,interest and ability to learn mathematics,training ability to analyze and solve problems,so that mathematics acts as a real tool during learning major courses.In this study,basing on the extensive research of the predecessors,following the theory of constructivism and cognitive learning theory,involving instruction of teaching within computer,combining with the general characteristics of secondary vocational students,we have explored in the scope of application on the Geometer's Sketchpad in the secondary mathematical teaching.We have actively applying geometric sketchpad to carry out the mathematics teaching in Gansu radio and TV Secondary Vocational School.According to the careful design of teaching case,the function of the geometry sketchpad and implement of classroom teaching,We summarize the reflection geometry sketchpad application in the secondary vocational mathematics classroom teaching strategy,improve the teaching mode,carry out the Geometer's Sketchpad in mathematics experiment,explore experiment method,discuss the geometric sketchpad in improving secondary vocational students' learning interest,and improve students' active ability as well as the corresponding method strategy.In our paper,the teaching effect has been discussed on the application of the Geometer's Sketchpad in the secondary mathematics classroom as follows.Firstly,the enthusiasm of the students' learning mathematics is increased obviously.Secondly,the influence of relevant on students is deepened.Thirdly,the ability of students' learning is improved.Finally,we conclude the paper with a summary to emphasize the value of the Geometer's Sketchpad application in secondary mathematical teaching,and present our own proposals to achieve the common progress with other secondary mathematical teachers.
