This paper makes further research about problems of the present subject MCAI instructional software in its process of design and making, mainly from the following three aspects:MCAI instructional software appears later in China than in other countries with weak theory basis, so in theory there is still not a perfect system about design and making of MCAI instructional software and in practice exists an incorrect tendency of paying more attention to practice than theory, performance than design, technology than effect .Without systemic theory, MCAI instructional software in China is lack of history power, results in scarcity of good instructional software. This paper deals systemically with the theory of design and making of MCAI instructional software, trying to emphasize the importance of it. The paper thinks that the theory of design and making of MCAI instructional software should be based on philosophy, establishing modern educational technology idea. Learning theory can be seen as a clue to reinforce supporting and directive role of the educational and instructional theory to MCAI; Modern science achievements should be advocated to from methodology basic of design and making of MCAI instructional software.At present, a wrong tendency in design of MCAI instructional software in China is that design and development of software is regarded as the same thing with that of instructional courseware. The limitation of instructional courseware greatly impedes independence and flexibility of teachers who employ it. The paper based on the achievement of former researchers, advocates to take instructional integral-software as a new idea and testify sufficiently its necessity and feasibility. In this paper, integral-software is seen as an idea, an unity in opposition of changing and unchanging ness. Integral-software on the basis of deep rethinking of instructional courseware in our education field, succeeds critically our ancestry's philosophy of "facing various changing with unchanging ness", puts forward on idea with Chinese characters of new generation of MCAI that is succession and development of instruction software; Development of technology makes it possible that biology teachers make instruction software with flexible and individual characters. Actively constructing biology instruction integral-software is a systemic project with design and choice of biology source material as core and key. Practicability and normality should be taken into consideration to establish a whole nation norm as fast as possible.This paper attempts to put theory into practice, trying to research concrete strategies and steps respectively of design and making of biological MCAI instruction software by using systemic theory and new integral-software idea. In addition, it practically designs and develops some chapters in existing biology textbook in senior middle school, draws a conclusion finally to point out some problems should be noticed and function tendency of biological MCAI. The conclusion emphasizes to integrate biological teaching with multi-media technology in terms of changing of instructional design idea, discreetly choosing of media and paying attention to typical use of multi-media in biology teaching; Taking integral-software as direction is advocates to stress construction as standard management, to rich and perfect biological teaching source base; By bring teachers' teaching personalities into play to develop personalized instruction software used to support diversity of personality teaching, to expect the development of students' personalities.
