Exercises in mathematics is an important part of mathematics teaching content,because it can help students to master basic skills, basic knowledge and develop capacity. Some softwares that help students to do mathematics exercises are the inevitable products of information technology development and changing students' learning needs. However, through the survey, "counselling" function of available mathematical exercise software on the market is weak ,because the design of many exersises software was only based on the "S - R " theory and its feedback is very simple. Facts have proved that although behaviorism learning theory has played an irreplaceable role in teaching , more people think that different kinds of learning theories enrich the understanding of the learning. With development of the cognitivism and constructivism learning theory, the mathematical exercise software only based on behaviorism has been unable to meet the needs of learners. In recent years, with in-depth research of learning theory and the rapid development of IT, we have enough reason to concern and study this issue. We believe that it is feasible, no matter from the needs of reality or the possibility of technical realization.The author think that the software aided mathematical exercises and based on Learning Outcomes is better than the one based on other learning theory, according to the comparative analysis of a variety of learning theory, characteristics of mathematics, practical experience in teaching mathematics and the characteristics of the computer program. First of all, the theory of Learning Outcomes is easy to achieve the purpose of counselling. According to the theory,we can find out the inner learning conditions and give learners corresponding outer learning conditions .At the same time, computer program still give students guidance. secondly, it is easy to help computer realize automatic guidance functions.To make rules and subordinate rules explicit is the way of realizing the automatic guidance functions of computer. So, from the numerous factors in software design, this study find out basic or explicit factors—Learning Outcomes and learning conditions . Based on it, The author discusses the design thought, patterns and methods of mathematical exercise counseling software.At first,this paper researched the features and theoretical foundation of the existing domestic mathematics exercises software design and the user feedback.Then,the author proposed the research task: Design and Development of Software aided mathematical exercises based on Learning Outcomes. Finally, the author analysised advantages of software aided mathematical exercises based on Learning Outcomes and proposed the general design patterns, methods and design steps. On the guide of the above-mentioned models and steps, conbining general design steps of software design,the author researched the specific issues in design and development on exercises counselling mathematical software design,such as Design and Development of Software aided Grade-7 mathematical exercises.It includes the classification and ranking of mathematics exercises, analysis of mathematics exercises learning hierarchies, the detailed design of each exercise counselling process.In the part of technology development, the author discussed the production of multimedia material, the integration and test of multimedia exercises software, and the submission of products.This study is author's the preliminary exploration on design and development of software aided mathematical exercises. So with the research deep-going, we also discover some questions which wait for being thought and following researched. So the thesis make the summary and necessary reconsideration in the end.
