As a new organizational form of educational industry, the appearance of educational groups isn't accidental. It strives from the development of educational market and educational industry. Part One in the essay compares and analyses respective background, types of educational groups and single schools, a traditional organizational form of education in a historic light. And the essay predicts that educational group will develop further while single schools will still exist and play an important part. Both of them can exist in common. Part Two analyzes comprehensively the advantages and disadvantages of educational groups. We should consider it correctly. Because of its advantages, it's possible for educational groups to expand further; as its disadvantages, it's impossible that educational groups will take completely place of single schools. Measures and suggestions are listed in Part Three. When traditional single schools will be changed into educational groups, we shouldn't keep up with the style, but analyze the conditions inside and outside. It's not certain that educational groups overdo single schools. For those single schools with full conditions, how to found educational groups? What is the procedure? And for those founded educational groups, which questions should be noticed? How to show its advantages and avoid its disadvantages in practice? All these problems are analyzed in detail one by one.Being a new phenomenon, educational group is helpful for people to seek the breakthrough of educational reform, to allocate educational resource, to enlarge its scale rapidly, to come scale economy into reality. But educational groups just appeared in China, effective theories are not enough. So the essay tries to extract some theory achievements from practice, in order to give references for practitioners, to share it with theory researchers.
