With the swift and violent development of science and technology, with the arrival of message community and world-wide economy, the future society has a higher demand on talent quality. In the new century, every country in the world has a common opinion about the demand of talent quality: to take strengthening the training of the students' ability as the emphasis and to bring up the corhprehensive talents who have the spirit of bringing forth new ideas. The common opinion is also the tendency of the reform of international education.Facing the 21st century, in the decision on deepening education reform and the whole advance of quality education, the central committee of the Party, the state council has an outstanding and definite demand that all kinds of education should strengthen the students' training of ability. Correspondingly, the universities continue to deepen the reform of the entrance examination system. They pay more attention to testing the student' integrating skills and quality, training the talents who can bring forth new ideas and guiding to improve the talents' all-round quality. The classroom teaching is the main channel to train the students' ability. In the present situation of classified teaching, how to train the students' integrating skills has become a new research topic in the field of the basic education and has become a problem that all the middle school teachers should think over and which needs solving quickly. Therefore, this article explains the structure of science integrating ability, researches into and analyzes the present situation of the senior middle school students' science integrating ability and builds the training tactics of science integrating ability in the subject teaching. All of these have a deep and wide meaning and value on how to train the students' integrating ability in the subject teaching.The science integrating ability means the students' ability of analyzing and solving the practical problems, by using learned knowledge arid skills, methods and tactics. The ability bases on the science subject ability, forms and develops by studying, especially research studying. The substance of science integrating ability is knowledge and skills that are formula, network and programmed, method tactics and the sense of value on emotion. It is a cognition structure that is highly summarized. The science integrating ability takes the thought ability and studying tactics as its form of expressiori. Developing the study activities, in which the students play main parts, is effective developing ways.According to the structure analysis of science integrating ability, we have exams, paper investigation to investigate the present situation of the senior middle school students' science integrating ability. The research result shows that, in their forms of expression of integrating ability which the senior middle school students have, the basic ability is better, such as observation ability, expression ability, comprehension ability and inference ability, but their compound ability is not good, such as experiment ability, the ability of solving problems, self-teaching ability and creative ability. After analyzing the cause of the research result, we can learn that there're many disadvantages in the traditional classroom teaching. The disadvantages are as follows:To think highly of teaching but make light of making a thorough inquiry; to value common knowledge teaching but underestimate the training of methods and tactics; to value the results but make light of process; to value book knowledge but underestimate connection; to value practice but ignore learning through practice in the experiment teaching.
