Study On Negative Change Of Value Outlook Of College Graduates With Initiative In Their Hands To Find Jobs During The Transitional Period Of Society And Countermeasures To Take

Now, our country is experiencing a transitional period of transforming from the planed economic system to the socialist market economic system; during which, the reform touches upon interests of various different social groups and the renewing system leads to separation and reorganization of interest relations. Because it is uneasy fore college graduates to find jobs, which becomes a knotty problem during the transitional period, the value outlook that once took a core place in people's ideological concept now is undertaking a complex and profound change. With an overall reform of employment system, the college and university graduates have the initiative in their own hands to find jobs, which brings a sharp change on their value outlook. This change has two obvious different trends: one is from the old value outlook to a new concept, which has active meaning and belongs to positive change. This is the dominant change. The other deviates from the history development, which means an increasing amount of negative element emerging in some people's value outlook. This is a passive change. Although the latter is not the main stream, it does have a great harm; particularly when it is often mingled with the positive change of people' s value outlook, because it brings a conflict of value concept to them and makes them behave inappropriately, and consequently causes and aggravates social contradiction, and even becomes a factor of social instability. All these problems must be taken seriously and solved properly. This paper analyzes the college graduates' ideology and behavior with a negative change on their value outlook when they have the initiative in their own hands to find jobs during thetransitional period. In addition, it explores the causes of their ideology and behavior, and reveals the passive consequences; on the base of which, with guidance of the leading value outlook of the society, tries to seek a practicable countermeasure. The ultimatum goals of which are to do well the ideological education of the social groups, guide positively the college graduates to choose a correct value outlook on life, reconstruct and stick to the socialist value outlook with Chinese characteristics, raise the level of the socialist cultural life, and finally carry forward a further systematic reform of the higher education.
