Along with the arrival of the information age and the continuous development of technology, came the broad and deep changes of our society. We live in a time of abundant materials. The variety of life styles and value systems have big influence on teenagers, both in their thoughts and their behaviors. When more and more students are not adapted to the changes in the school environment, misbehaviors appear, such as studying deficiency, anxiety for exams, hating school, attention deficit disorder, lying, stealing, fighting, or even more serious crimes against laws. To ensure the healthy growth of teenagers, we as educators should analyze and study the misbehaviors of teenagers, emphasize on shaping their morality and mature personality, help them to identify more with the country and the society and understand more about their values.Behavior modification means to observe and analyze the everyday misbehaviors of teenagers, find out both the psychological and moral factors hidden behind those behaviors, design appropriate method and apply it to correct misbehaviors, and lead students to form correct moral and behavior standards.The first and second section of this paper is an overview of misbehaviors, including what we mean by misbehavior and behavior modification and why it is necessary to study them. The third section talks about how to correct misbehaviors in more details. It focuses on analyzing and studying two types of misbehaviors, i.e. the misbehavior of students from special families and the misbehavior of special students. The former includes single parent families, families that both parents are laid off and families that both parents are working at other places, leaving children alone at home; the latter includes students falling in love too early, students addicted to internet, students with financial problems, and students with problems in classrooms. This part also provides some methods tocorrect misbehaviors. These methods aim at looking for both basic educational principles and concrete practical methods. In the last section I will briefly talk about the remaining questions and some personal suggestions.
