This paper deals with the necessity and characteristics of the aesthetical construction of teaching Chinese reading lessons in primary school. Combined with the actual teaching cases, it constructs the aesthetical teaching system of reading class from the angle of aesthetical viewpoint, the creation of situations, teaching in reading aloud, teachers' teaching language, blackboard writing design, teaching aided by modern media technology, and extended reading, so as to result in appreciativereading---the highest realm of aesthetical reading. Finally, the paperalso puts forward some practical suggestions for carrying out the methods. The ultimate purpose of the aesthetical construction of the teaching of Chinese reading lessons is to realize the harmony, blending and mutual development of instrumentality and humanity of the Chinese teaching in primary school.
