The introduced foreign education and teaching theories have put an end to the stereotyped ( )model since the 1980s. Various teaching methods bloomed and become fruitful within the country. Nowadays the new ways of classroom organization are being called for by the new curricula reform and the new era. Hence the author, in this new situation, holds that the reseach about the classroom teaching models is practically significant.The author, analyzed the four basic models in present middle school mathematics teaching , designed the so-called " A Research on ' Four-self ' Class Teaching Model in Senior Mathematics" on the basis of more than ten years of teaching practice.The basic process is: understand the goal by oneself -probe by oneself-communicate by oneself-apply to practice by oneself. This model pays special attention to the guidance of some learning theories and the behaviors of both teachers and students, emphasizing the multi-lateral communication among the community of the teachers and the students and the behaviors of the students in the ' Four-self ' as well respectively. According to the teaching practice this new model has been proven to be superior to the traditional ones as it has promoted the self-teaching ability of the students and their science exploration spirit.
