Application Study Of Access Control Technology In Distance Teaching System

With the rapid development of Internet, building modern distance teaching systemon Internet becomes a new development trend of distance education. So relatedinformation security problems becomes the focus that people pay close attention to. This thesis deals with how to apply Role Based Access Control (RBAC)technology into modern distance teaching system. First of all, this thesis analysescharacteristics of modern distance teaching system, security threats that are faced andweak points of different access control technologies. Then, this thesis puts forward akind of new RBAC model--EX_RBAC; it is a kind of improvement of RBAC96 model.It organizes insides resource of the information system into a kind of structure in orderthrough introducing the concept of ObjectGroup, overcomes the shortcomings ofRBAC96 model difficult to implement in practical application. At last, this thesisdesigns a set of implementation scheme of applying EX_RBAC model into distanceteaching system. This scheme describes the relation of role hierarchy with DAG androle's permissions withACM (Access control mask), solve key technology problems.
