This paper is about how to teach and learn writing with concept map based on the instructional experiment in the fifth grade. Meanwhile, the paper summarizes the effectiveness of the visualized tool in this instructional field according to the writing tests. Mainly, the paper includes several sections as follows:First, the paper expatiates on the reasons of using concept map in writing class in primary school by consulting relevant theories and studying the latest teaching practice. This section covers Chapter 1.Second, based on the research, the paper proposes five aspects to use the concept map in writing class. The five ways are: (1) to make the outline easier, (2) to prompt students to observe (3) to inspire students to imagine, (4) to make writing from reading effectively and (5) to make writing from speaking effectively. Then, according to the mentioned 5 aspects, the paper shows examples, and also gives analysis of each. This is the main section for the paper and it includes Chapter 2 to 6.Third, in Chapter7, the paper evaluates the tool used in the writing class according to the feedback from the students, teachers and even parents.At last, Chapter 8 draws the conclusion on the research and discusses about further study.
