As education reform goes further, more and more teachers are under stress . Teacher occupational stress problem catches the attention of many researchers. The writer makes a preliminary study of this problem by investigating junior teacher occupational stress state .The writer investigates the junior teacher stress state by using questionairs and talking . The conclusions are as follows : 1 Junior teacher occupational stress is too intensitive. 80.28% investigated teachers said that their occupational stress was too intensitive. 2.1ntensitive occupational stress has harmful effects on teachers' body, behavior, especially mental health. 3.The main stressors of junior teacher occupational stress are successively students, examination, income, expectation of society , work burden, personnel reform and self-development needs in profession. 4.Teachers with different background characteristics have both similar stressors and particular stressors.In the light of junior teacher occupational stress state and the forming course of stress, the writer gives some pieces of advice on reducing junior teacher occupational stress intensity:1. Government should raise teachers' economic status to attract more people to join teachers. 2.Society should place proper hopes on teachers and give them more understanding and supports. 3.Government and headmasters should alleviate teachers' work burden so that teachers have their own time to improve their qualities. 4.Government and school should establish the development-oriented evaluation mechanism instead of the examination-oriented evaluation mechanism. 5.The fair and reasonable teacher appointment mechanism should be established by perfecting teacher personnel reform. 6.Teachers themselves should be conscious of the important mental health protection and try to improve the ability of self-adjusting to stress.
