The Investigation On Sex Among Middle School Teachers In Eastern West Lake District Of Wuhan City

This paper adopts the self- designed questionnaire of Sex Education among Middle School Teachers and investigated 584 teachers of nineteen middle schools in Eastern West Lake District Of Wuhan City. The questionnaire deals with the level of sexual knowledge structure, sexual concept, the attitude and opinion of sex education and suggestions of improving sex education in middle schools. The conclusion can be drawn that their sexual knowledge is not comprehensive and even there are many errors; there is a portion of unenlightened and unscientific sexual concepts. Middle school teachers show concern about sex education universally but the develop of adolescence sex education is almost under stagnation. Some suggestions are made that the status of adolescence sex education in quality education should be understood correctly; the construction and training of qualified teachers should be strengthened; the mechanism of surveillance and evaluation and guidance of sex education should be established.
