Abstract: With the deep research of the fundamental education curriculum reform, the plane geometry curriculum have been huge changed, whether the new geometry curriculum can go smoothly or not will depend much on if the qualifications of our teachers can adapt to the requirements of the curriculum reform. About these problems,also must be examined by practice. The reform does great opportunities and harsh challenges to our teachers' teaching conception, teaching methods, teaching behavior and evaluation means.According to the teaching present of the plane geometry, this paper designs a series of coincidence reality investigations and questionnaires. It include under aspects: instructors' education concept math knowledge and capabilities, and their understanding for the new contents in the new curriculum, teaching methodology and teaching behavior. student's geometry learning attitudes and methods; teachers' outlook of the text book; relation of teacher and student; examination and evaluation criteria and manage methodology; modern education technology means etc.On the base of investigations and research , the paper first analyze the investigation result and give the reasons why they exist, clarify teacher should have the basic notion: the idea of "Mathematics for all"; the idea of "human-centered thinking"; emphasize relation for reality life; pay attention to the development of students' thought ability and blaze new trails; propose new teaching form etc.Second, According to the result of investigations and research, summed up the successful experiment and existential problem of the new geometry curriculum. Summed up the change of the geometry curriculum reform experiment: 1. Teacher's role change: from "teacher" to "leader in a cause"; from "teaching artisan" to "researcher"; from "follow worker" to "cooperator", from "executor" to "designer and developer". 2. Instructor teaching means, it covered six aspects: (1)with constructivism concepts guide geometry teaching; (2)flexibly utilize many kinds teaching methods; (3)enough develop modern education technology's promotion function;(4)excavate geometry text's education function;(5)teaching rethinking;(6)science evaluation .At the same time, we also find some problem of not to be beneficial for new course implementation:(1)always according to the text teaching;(2)teaching way is outmoded;(3)formalization in the class teaching;(4)there are misunderstanding to inquiry teaching;(5)chance assign unfair;(6)students are short of kill in the class, collaborative Realize not better.Third, we propose to develop working of instructor training actively. At last, be aimed at current condition of the geometry teaching reform. this paper put forward some suggestions to deepen the new geometry teaching reform: (1)set up example outlook of the text book;(2)set up opening outlook of teaching;(3)look closely at geometry activity teaching again;(4)research inquiry teaching under condition of many students; (5)explore the way of assign unfair;(6)science organize collaborative learning.Through the investigations and thinking, I wish the research on this topic can improve the new geometry curriculum reform and also can provide valuable help for all the middle school mathematical teachers in classrooms to understand the new curriculum system deeply and study《The Fundamental Education Curriculum Reform Blueprint》;in detail,I also hope this research can bring ideas and actions from our middle school mathematical teachers to fight for the challenge from the new curriculum reform and to work for and improve the geometry teaching quality ,thereby improve the math teaching quality , push on quality and creativity education.
