Conception is the base of thinking , but thinking is intellectual core. Based on the theory and practice of physics teaching, conceptual teaching plays an important role. As mental and mind coming to mature following the age, school student's thinking also changes at intervals. The teachers always need to guide them to learn the principle, grasp the law of science and discover or study some new knowledge. It is very related among epistemology, logic and psychology while we are researching student's thinking. Thinking is the object of many science's researches. Epistemology pays more attention on the relation between thinking and exist, logic studies on the problem of thinking result, and psychology focus on the law of human thinking occurring and developing. Many achievements of study in the field of logic and psychology have been achieved, in which have revealed the stage characters of thinking development and its tendency. How to apply available achievements to the special field of discipline, giving a science analysis and explanation on the way of mentality, it is greatly realistic sense to improve the teacher's "teaching" and student's "learning" and guide students to construct knowledge and scientific study in meaningful way.This study elaborately choose the prospective of science conceptual formation & reasoning developing for a meaningful attempt and initial reveal of the characters and developing tendency between conceptual formation & reasoning among school students, also analyzing the affective factors about the student's conceptual formation. Using the method of questionnaire and interview, the study examined the student's conceptual & reasoning development. The result shows that:Student's ability of conceptual formation developed gradually and inconsistently, but the difference exists between male and female. It is not so significant difference in the stage of the junior middle school, and there is some differences in the stage of high school. It also shows that female have more difficult in coping with the affection of preconceptions;Different mathematical bases have effect on student's conceptual formation, but it will reflect more significant different level in the third grade of junior middle school students.Conceptual formation is not significantly related to the ability of thinking reasoning among students; There are significant affect of thinking reasoning and problem-solving strategies with different mathematical bases, but intelligent level is not effect too much in conceptual formation.Based on the points above, this paper offers some advices with respect to the reform of elementary education. First, the knowledge is to be "learned", not be "taught". Second, it shows a positive role by experiments with hands-on and science exploration. Third, the appropriate content and suitable start point of study are important, and more attention to the weaker-group of student at their key stage of study is necessary. In addition, using the school education and student's original experience of daily life makes some actively affects for boosting their transformation of science. Last, but not the least, carrying out situation-based teaching for promoting students to build up their knowledge is meaningful.
