During the stage of carrying out new chemical course, it is effective to improve the chemical experimental ability of students by setting up and perfecting corresponding evaluation system, which is helpful for the teachers to understand the importance of chemical experimental teaching and for the students to develop all-round with comprehensive qualities enhanced. In this research, the students of first-year-class in two senior middle schools are selected. Several measurements are performed to improve the chemical experimental ability of the students gradually, such as introducing interesting experiments, analyzing the principle of typical experiments, demonstrating the experiments accurately, emphasizing on doing the experiments in groups and chemical activity out of class. Our research focuses on the evaluation of chemical experimental ability of students with combination of the ways of educational estimation. As a result, the students in our selected class are superior to the normal ones in representation of learning interests and positivity, ability of experimental performing, realization of environment protection and safety. So we draw a conclusion as that the system of evaluation of chemical experimental ability is important to be improved and perfected for the development of both teachers and students.
