Chemistry is the natural sciences based on experiment, and the experimental is the base of chemistry. Due to the features of the chemistry, the chemical experiment is also the basis of the chemistry teaching, and experimental teaching plays an irreplaceable role in chemistry teaching. Since the autumn of2009, the high school of Hebei Province have all entered the implementation stage of the new high school curriculum, the Chemistry Curriculum Standards of high schools and high school textbooks have put forward new requirements for the experimental teaching, then, this article chooses the rural high schools of Hengshui area of Hebei province as the research object, and has investigation and research on the implementation status of their chemical experiment teaching.This article has investigations and finds the problems based on the investigations, and put forward a reasonable proposal. The article totally includes six parts:the first part is the subject, the purpose of the subject research, the meaning and the present domestic and foreign status of the subject research; the second part is related concept definition and theoretical basis; the third part is the comparison between the high school experiment in new and old teaching materials of high schools, and the changes about chemical experiment in the new curriculum; the fourth part is the core part of this paper-the investigations on the present status of the implementation of chemical experiment teaching in rural high schools, and finds the problems; the five parts is also the core of this paper-the reasonable recommendations for problems found in the investigation. At last, the paper makes conclusions to provide some reference for chemical educators.On the basis of reading relevant articles and interviews, with the work experience and high school chemistry teaching, the paper makes the teacher questionnaire and student questionnaire, and has questionnaire interview on60teachers and300students, and makes summary and analysis on questionnaires with comprehensive statistics method, and the investigation results reveals:(1) the construction and facilities of laboratories are inadequate;(2) the high school chemistry experiments have such problems:the quality of teachers is not high enough, the new students don’t pay enough attention to the experiment and have incomplete experimental cognitive;(3) over a single evaluation on the chemical experiment.Based on the analysis of survey results, the paper puts forward for the chemistry experiment teaching of high schools:(1) strengthen the construction of laboratories, enrich chemical experiment teaching resources;(2) comprehensively improve the experimental quality of the teachers so that students have correct understanding of the teaching of chemistry experiments;(3) use reasonable assessment.
