This thesis demonstrates that the learning mode should be varied based on scientific research. The selection of learning mode varies in accordance with different learning needs of individuals. Although the two types of learning modes: learning for doing research and learning for acquiring knowledge are different from each other, each with respective merits and drawbacks, they can be combined during the actual realization of learning practice. It may be a feasible tactics to make learning for research an independent curriculum subject for the sake of enhancing the transformation of learning mode. However, this method is doomed to fail if it tells these two learning modes completely apart. The learning mode comes from people's experience and is formed in such a way as to facilitate the learning and teaching. When the mode does not contribute to the learning practice and exert a negative effect on the actual teaching outcome, then it should be altered and integrated into other modes in order to get the best one.' Going extremes from one mode to another should, therefore, be avoided.
