Content: With the acceleration of adjustment process of its structure, normal school education has stepped into the implement stage of building a school-running system about five-year normal training. If we want to improve the efficiency of moral education in schools under new situation, we need to research into its methods in modern schools.There are some unsatisfied parts in its present methods carried out by normal schools: more concentrated inculcation, less inspiration and guidance; more passive perfunctoriness, less results; more theories, less practice by the speakers; more political education, less moral acquisition; more speaking with a commanding view, less equal treating and emotional communication. Moral education at present still adopts the way of mere preaching, which denies the students' subjective nature. The students are only regarded as the passive accepting objects. It is hard to form an equal relationship for communication between the teachers and students. The teachers always adopt preaching way with a commanding view, overlooking their particularity during the course. It emphasizes the teachers' leading role lopsidedly on the status between the teachers and students. The ways are only limited to the imparting layer of single moral standard system, neglecting the students' independence, differences, vigorousity and creativity, ignoring their self-education and the practical meaning of moral education, depriving their rights of self-choosing, and thus strangle their moral judgement abilities.The reason why the present situation and problems came into being is that it firstly asks too much in moral education target, which restricts the inflexibility of its methods in some degrees. The second one is the teachers' different understanding of the students' psychology and moral need, which influences the teachers' choosing and position-fixing of educational methods. Traditional value orientation influences its methods .The current moral educational methods which are more advanced at present include moral discussion teaching method, value-clarifying method, moral-experience method, correction method of bad moral behaviours. There should be such aspects in implement tactics of moral educational methods in normal schools: it is the key of moral educational method reform that the teachers have new conceptions; it should change from one-way preaching to equal interchange ; which way to choose should vary according to different people and different time; its design should press close to life, pushing forward practicality; it should base on reason.
