On the basis of arranging and summarizing the international chemical curriculum reformation's primary tendency, our country commenced science inquisition in the chemical curriculum for the first time. It is the first try for our textbooks' redaction to design many forms of inquisition activities in textbooks and make students to gain the conclusions by doing the true inquisition activities by themselves. Studying actively,researching curriculum standard and experimental textbooks, concerning the experimental work of chemical curriculum reformation in the middle school have become the prime task of the teachers and the chemical education researchers. In this essay, the four editions of compulsory education "curriculum standard" chemical experimental textbooks have been issued will be compared and researched in the amount of the science inquisition activities ,the contents of the science inquisition activities ,the means of the science inquisition activities, then the conclusions will be gained. That aims to provide some wealth and messages with teachers and students to wage effective inquisition activities and bring some apocalypse and example to the following redaction and correction of the science inquisition activities in the textbooks. The work will be valuable to the fortune redaction and research of the textbooks. Four parts are included in this essay, and here are the content and achievement of each: At the beginning, I proposed the questions and give brief answers to the origin of the paper and the direction and value of the research work. Then , the second part of the paper is science inquisition activity, which emphasizes on the arranging,summarizing,analyzing and researching into the literatures about the essence of the science inquisition,the elements of the science inquisition,the relations of the elements of the science inquisition,the types of the science inquisition activity and the decision standards of the science inquisition activity in the textbooks. After that, the science inquisitions activities in the four editions of compulsory education "curriculum standard" chemical experimental textbooks are compared in the third part. The amount of the science inquisition activities ,the three kinds of the contents of the science inquisition activities and the three kinds of the means of the science inquisition activities, those are compared and analyzed separately. Then, the common grounds and the distinctions of the design for the science inquisition activities in those three aspects are determined. Finally, according to the contents of the compare and the research about the science inquisition activities in different editions of compulsory education "curriculum standard" chemical experimental textbooks, the four conclusions are acquired.
