Implementing General Education And Trainning Creative Talented Person

This paper uses several kinds of methods synthetically such as the historical research, philological research, and systematically analyzes the relationship between general education and the undergraduates' creativity. It has four sections:The first part is an outline of general education. In the first, based on the brief review of the former research, puts forward the connotation of general education, and generalizes some characteristics.The second part emphatically studies the significance of promoting the undergraduates' creativity through the implementation of general education. This part analyses the relationship between general education and the undergraduates' creativity from three facets: general education to be helpful to form the reasonable knowledge structure, train overall thinking ability, and develop the intellectual and the non-intellectual factor coordinately.The third part is made up of two questions: perspective of present problem of tertiary education and reason analyses. In the first, the author analyses the current problem of tertiary education from four facets: educational idea, specialty arrangement; course arrangement and the way of teaching, which hinder the exploit of undergraduates' creativity. the key problem is too specialized education in the university. Then, the author analyses the reason which leads the above-mentioned present situation from three aspects: thought idea, the system of social politics, economic and culture, thought idea is the main reason.The last part throws light on an ideal type of general education that advances the development of the undergraduates' creativity effectively. At first, the author carries on the brief summary of general education practice of some universities. then, puts forward corresponding measures, namely: transforming the educational idea, renewing education goal, reforming specialized establishment, optimizing curriculum system and improving teaching way.
