On The Ideological Conversion Of The College Students With The Education Of Ideology And Politics In The New Situation

Ideological conversion is one of basic categories of the ideological and political education. It is of great significance and influential function in such education. It is also the fundamental strategy for fulfilling the educational goals and accomplishing the educational tasks, and therefore the pivotal link in the education of ideology and politics.Nowadays, the ideological and political state of the most of college students is active, healthy and progressive. However, with the Open-up policy and development of the market economy which make the living environment of the college students much more complex than ever, the fact that some students are losing their political faith, value orientation and sense of responsibility is also clearly shown. Therefore, a further study on the ideological conversion of the college students in the new situation is significant not only in the theoretical aspect but also in the practical one.The ideological conversion process has its own rules, which calls for great efforts of workers in ideological and political education field to seek for in order to reach anticipated goals in education. The workers are required, on the one hand, to promote their own theoretical level and set a good example for students, and on the other hand, to continuously improve their working methods and promote their art of work. Starting from the analysis of the rules of ideological conversion, the present paper firstly expounds the theories and practices of ideological conversion at home and abroad. Then, with combination of the new features in ideological conversion in the new situation, a new perspective in both theories and practices of ideological conversion is hopefully obtained, which, in turn, may enhance pertinency, efficacy and appeal of ideological and political education to college students in the new situation.
