Research On Mobile Learning & The Design Of Mobile Learning Resources

In recent years, the rapid development of wireless tech and mobile information technology have greatly boosted the birth of the brand-new mobile learning.Mobile learning (m-learning) enables free access to learning information, resources and service with the utilization of mobile information network and device. Mobile learning is a supplement to the existed distant learning. Breaking through the restriction of both time and space, it can greatly raise learning efficiency and meet the need of life-long education.This thesis deals with issues related to mobile learning from theory, technology and application. Firstly, it points out mobile learning is the trend of learning method and defines mobile learning according to its features and nature. In addition theoretical basis and related technology, such as learning theory, mobile computing technology are talked about. Thirdly, it analyses the basic form and the application system of m-learning from the aspect of application, which also becomes the base of discussing the necessity and feasibility of integrating mobile learning system and the existing Web-based learning system, and putting forward the selective settlement scheme. Finally, from practices, it indicates the basic model, method and the flow of the resource design, trying to design and develop an English vocabulary learning resource based on the .NET technique, and make formation evaluation. Productions and the shortcomings of this research are summarized in the end of this thesis; at the same time, the further research direction is also prospected.
